This assignment focused on designing a complete book jacket for a fictional novel, including the front cover, spine, and back cover. The objective was to apply the principles of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and composition to create a cohesive design that captures the reader's attention and reflects the book's genre.
I created the original title, Secrets of the Crown: Princess to Queen, and designed a book jacket that reflects the story's royal theme. The cover features a gold crown as the central focal point, complemented by a bold palette of black, gold, and magenta to create an elegant and dramatic look. I also designed the spine and back cover, incorporating a book summary, testimonials, publisher information, and a barcode to produce a polished, publication-ready design.
